Vincent Ricardel's multi decade career has spanned the editorial, commercial and fine art worlds of photography.  He has created portraits of world leaders and celebrities, including legendary artists, musicians and designers.  Vincent’s work draws from his photojournalist roots and is documentary in nature, seeking to provoke curiosity yet also find amusement in life’s unintentional comedy. This is especially evident in his street and documentary work. Vincent’s images have been published worldwide, and he has numerous advertising and editorial credits. 

His work has appeared in numerous juried exhibitions throughout the United States, Leica Store Gallery exhibits and is currently showing in several galleries in New York and Palm Beach, Florida.  Vincent’s photographs were featured in the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art 2011 exhibit, “Guitar Heroes,”inspired by the book he co-authored, Arch Top Guitars: The Journey From Cremona to New Yorkfor which he received GRAPHIS’ 2011 Best in Photography award.   In addition to New York, Vincent’s photographs have been shown in juried exhibitions in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Bellevue Washington, Palm Springs and Palm Beach.   Vincent's fine art work can be viewed at www.vincentricardelfineart.com

Vincent has given numerous photography workshops and taught at the Center of Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University.  From 2017- 2021 he  served as Senior Advisor at the National Endowment for the Humanities.  Vincent holds a BA from American University in Washington, DC.  He lives with his wife, the Honorable Mira Ricardel, in Palm Beach, Florida and Alexandria, Virginia.
